NorthEast Foundation

NorthEast Foundation was created in 1994 to support one of our community's most valued assets, Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast.  Community leaders were invited to establish a Foundation Board of Directors whose mission is to secure additional financial support solely for Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast from families, friends, businesses and neighbors through an organized program of fund development.  Gifts to NorthEast Foundation are considered gifts of love and support from the community, gifts that acknowledge the importance of preserving and enhancing the health status of our community.

03/25/13 - 2012 has been a fantastic year to celebrate CMC-NorthEast’s 75th Anniversary; HONORING the Past, SHAPING the Future. Charles A. Cannon’s leadership, vision, and generosity in this community created a rich history that this medical center proudly displays each and every day. Since accepting its first patient on July 26th, 1937, Cabarrus County Hospital has grown into a medical center with thousand of employees and has benefitted hundreds of thousands of patients over the years.

Dancing For Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital

01/25/13 - The Piedmont School of Music and Dance held a special recital at Hamrick Theatre on the CMC-NorthEast campus on May 16th. Led by School Directors Rebecca and Daniel Wiley, their production of Peter and the Wolf was enjoyed by an audience which included Jeff Gordon and his family – in fact, Jeff’s daughter, Ella, was one of the performers! Proceeds of $2,500 from the event were donated to Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital.
