2002-2004

Cabarrus College of Health Sciences - $9.4 Million

Located on the campus of CHS NorthEast, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences focuses on health sciences education and offers bachelor and associate degrees as well as diplomas, certificates, and continuing education on a non-residential campus. The Cabarrus College of Health Sciences community campaign, built the college's current facility.

 

2005-2007

Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital - $9.8 Million

Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital is a 53-bed children’s hospital located on the campus of CHS NorthEast. It provides highly specialized, exceptional pediatric care close to home. The Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital was a $9.5 million community campaign, built solely by community support. Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital offers a wide range of services including subspecialty and intensive care. It is also home to the Children’s Advocacy Center, where physically and sexually abused patients can receive physical and emotional care.

 

2008-2010

CMC-NorthEast Breast Health Center - $5.8 Million

The Breast Health Center community campaign developed the Breast Health Program, including the Breast Health Center, to purchase digital mammography equipment and the mobile mammography van, and to provide additional support for breast health community outreach programs. 

 

2011-2013

Tucker Hospice House Expansion Campaign - $3.6 Million

This community campaign added a third phase to the existing Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. Focusing on a positive quality of life, the house provides an ideal environment for emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and offers professional care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The campaign provided funding to build four more residential care rooms and eight more general inpatient rooms, doubling the number of patient rooms from 12 to 24.  The new space also houses a larger parlor and chapel, and a new staff station and quarters.
