The mission of NorthEast Foundation is to Improve Health, Elevate Hope and Advance Healing for all through awareness of and fundraising for Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast.
To be the first and best choice for philanthropy in our Community.
NorthEast Foundation was created in 1994 to support one of our community’s most valued assets, Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast. Community leaders were invited to establish a Foundation Board of Directors whose mission was to secure additional financial support solely for Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast. Through an organized program of fund development with families, friends, businesses and neighbors, this mission continues today. Gifts to NorthEast Foundation are considered gifts of love and support from the community, gifts that acknowledge the importance of preserving and enhancing the health status of our community.
We Give First – Current
“We Give First” is the annual giving campaign with an $8 million fundraising goal, and a mission to make Carolinas Healthcare System NorthEast the First and Best choice for Healthcare. The campaign will continue to allow donors the ability to designate which area of CHS NorthEast their gift will benefit.
10 Areas of Support – $7.2 Million
The Board of Directors unanimously decided to adopt a donor-centered approach. By accurately matching the donor’s interest with the hospital’s need, a more impactful gift experience is created for the donor in areas of the hospital for which they are most passionate.
